Cancellation Policy
Online donations may settle into the Kashvi Trust account immediately or within 1 to 2 business days. Cheques or direct bank transfers may take additional time to clear. A cancellation request may be considered by Kashvi Trust only under the following circumstances:
- Verified technical errors that resulted in an incorrect transaction.
- Duplicate transactions made by the donor.
All cancellation requests must be supported by appropriate proof of transaction and submitted within the stipulated timelines provided in the Refund Policy. All cancellation requests are reviewed case by case and processed at the discretion of Kashvi Trust.
3. Refund Policy
In the unlikely event of an erroneous deduction or a duplicate donation, Kashvi Trust will initiate verification and respond to the donor’s complaint within 7 working days from the date of receiving the written request. The timeline for the refund to reflect in the donor’s account will depend on the banking channels and the type of card or payment method used during the transaction. To process such refunds, the donor must provide:
- Proof of deduction of the donation amount; and
- A written request for refund, submitted within two (2) days from the date of the donation. Requests must be submitted in writing to the official email address of Kashvi Trust.
Refund requests received after this period may not be eligible for processing. In the case of tax exemption certificate already issued, refund will not be possible. Refunds are made to the same payment method used for the original transaction.
4. Changes to This Policy
Kashvi Trust may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Portions of this policy may be changed, modified, added, or removed at any time, at the sole discretion of Kashvi Trust, without any prior written notice. Continued use of the Services after such changes are posted will be deemed to constitute acceptance of the revised policy. It shall be the sole responsibility of the user to ensure understanding of, and compliance with, all laws, rules, and regulations applicable within the user’s jurisdiction in connection with their business and use of the Services.
