Dr. Pratyushaa Biswas is a development professional with over fifteen years of experience in education systems strengthening, gender equity, and child protection. Her work focuses on bridging policy frameworks with on-ground realities, particularly in rural and underserved communities of Jharkhand.
She holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and brings a systems-oriented approach to building sustainable, institutional solutions. Her key contributions include establishing Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Resource Centres within government structures and supporting the development of state-level safety guidelines for residential schools now embedded in official protocols.
Dr. Biswas has worked extensively on education continuity for out-of-school girls through pathways such as NIOS and applies evidence-based planning and action research to address challenges like school dropouts and child safety. Her approach emphasizes local relevance, institutional ownership, and long-term outcomes for children and women from vulnerable communities.

Amit Kumar Anal is a seasoned development professional with over seven years of experience in livelihood promotion, vocational training, and community development. As the Livelihood and Vocational Manager at Kashvi Disha, he brings grounded field experience and strategic leadership to build scalable, skill-based livelihood models across the programme’s operational areas. Prior to this, he served as Manager – Agriculture at Tata Steel Foundation, leading CSR initiatives in mining regions with a focus on sustainable livelihoods, resource management, and strengthening local governance. Amit holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from XISS Ranchi, a Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, and a certificate in Self-Help Group Management from TISS Mumbai. His work is anchored in participatory development, with a strong emphasis on community ownership, convergence with government schemes, and empowering youth and grassroots institutions in underserved regions.

Sampat Shete brings valuable experience in accounts and finance, with a strong foundation in managing the financial and administrative aspects of development programmes. He has worked extensively on CSR programme and project formulation, operational planning, and coordination. Sampat’s work reflects a consistent commitment to supporting education initiatives for underprivileged girls by ensuring sound financial systems and efficient resource management. His focus on strengthening organisational processes and enabling community-led participatory monitoring systems has contributed meaningfully to the growth and impact of the Kashvi Programme.

Her work reflects a deep commitment to supporting the educational journeys of underprivileged girls through thoughtful programme design, operational planning, and collaborative implementation. Soma has played a key role in building meaningful partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, and funding agencies to strengthen alternative education efforts. Her focus on organisational development, staff capacity building, and community-led participatory monitoring has helped deepen the impact of the Kashvi initiatives, contributing to their continued growth and relevance.
